AAA Editor Notes
Museum of Florida History, in the R.A. Gray Building at 500 S. Bronough St., has exhibits depicting Florida's vibrant history. Visitors can view a variety of artifacts, including a mastodon skeleton and a giant armadillo mannequin from the Pleistocene era, gold and silver from Spanish shipwrecks, flags flown during the Civil War, a partial replica of a Florida steamboat, memorabilia reflecting Florida's role in World War II and various artifacts from the changing gallery. Touring exhibits and educational programs also are featured.

Food is available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
