I am very impressed with the vision of taking a historic courthouse and creating a gorgeous hotel from its courtrooms, cells and judges chambers.
AAA Inspector Notes
Located in the arts/entertainment district, the hotel was previously a federal courthouse. Upscale rooms vary in shape and size and were once judges' chambers, courtrooms and even holding cells. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel's grand architecture makes for an impressive sight. The main stairs lead to a beautiful French restaurant and bakery. A covered side entrance leads to the main lobby where you are greeted by a friendly valet and led into an ultramodern facility that is enhanced with touches of yesteryear. Gorgeous marble, granite and woodwork are carefully maintained to preserve the building's historic integrity.
Smoke free premises. 130 units. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
