History Fort Lauderdale

History Fort Lauderdale is at 231 S.W. 2nd Ave. The main history museum presents exhibitions of artifacts from pioneer times to the present. The changing exhibits, archives and library offer information about local and regional history. Guided tours also include the 1899 Replica School House Museum and 1907 King-Cromartie House, a museum of pioneer lifestyles. Guided walking tours of the historic district are offered by reservation. Boat tours on the New River also are available.
