Disney's Hollywood Studios®, 50 Animation Dr., has been inspired by popular films, television, music and animation. Art Deco architecture and design elements throughout the park recall old Hollywood. Guests begin their immersion in entertainment via Hollywood Boulevard.
Catch the pulsating beat of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith in a twistin’, turnin’, loopin’, high-speed limo ride that is sure to get the adrenaline jammin’. And never experience the same fear twice as you hurtle up and down on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ haunted “elevator” attraction.
Take aim and ride on the interactive 4D Toy Story Mania!® attraction inspired by Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” films, where you’ll grab some 3D glasses, board a ride vehicle and zip off into a world of immersive, midway-style games hosted by popular Toy Story characters. In the all-new Toy Story Land, the Alien Swirling Saucers and the Slinky-Dog Dash coaster add to the fun.
Have younger kids? Then head to an all-new Disney Junior show “Disney Junior Dance Party!” where little ones can sing, clap and dance along with some favorite friends from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins and more!
Of course, people of all ages can enjoy watching the Broadway-style extravaganza “Beauty and the Beast—Live on Stage” and taking a dive under the sea with Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder on “Voyage of The Little Mermaid.”
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge boasts thrilling adventures like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and in Dec. 2019, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Build your own lightsaber in Savi's Workshop and design a customized droid at the Droid Depot. For an out-of-this-world 3-D thrill, nothing beats Star Tours®—The Adventures Continue! Featuring a constellation of interplanetary destinations and encounters with characters, such as C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader, you’ll never know where the Force might take you.
Then head to the Hyperion Theater and enjoy “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” featuring Elsa and Anna, immersive storytelling, a mountain of songs from the movie and more. And finally, be dazzled by “Fantasmic!” where Sorcerer Mickey defeats some Disney Villains amid an extravaganza of lasers, lights, dancing waters and special effects.
Note: Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction is under construction and anticipated to open in Spring 2020; the park remains open.
