AAA Inspector Rating Details (scale 1-5)
Museum? Art gallery? Or a hotel pushing the envelope of creativity? I pause in reflective thoughtfulness in all the artistic beauty encapsulated here
AAA Inspector Notes
Staying here is like taking a journey into another time. It is easy to get lost in the art, literature, history and the story that this hotel begs to tell. From the moment you walk into "The Cathedral," you will feel a sense of awe as you peruse the detailed wall murals by famed artist Juan Gatti. As you peer toward the beach, you will see a gilded woolly mammoth skeleton, and off to the left is the tree of life. From beginning to end, every effort is made to customize your stay with the assistance of "Experience Managers" and "Butlers." At the end of the day, when you retreat to the plush comforts of your room, you can enjoy views of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The rooms are chock-full of technology, from ambient lighting to the portable tablet used to make dining reservations, spa appointments or to contact your butler.
Smoke free premises. 169 units, some two bedrooms and efficiencies. 14 stories, interior corridors.
