St. Andrews State Park, 3 mi. e. off SR 392 to 4607 State Park Ln., flanks the pass separating Panama City Beach from Shell Island, the barrier isle guarding the mouth of St. Andrews Bay. The mainland portion of the park contains a restored turpentine still. The Shell Island segment, an excellent spot for swimming, snorkeling and shell gathering, is accessible only by boat. Shuttles depart from the end of Thomas Drive in the recreation area daily every 30 minutes 9-5, Mid-March through Labor Day.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
