Goodwood Museum and Gardens

Goodwood Museum and Gardens is at 1600 Miccosukee Rd. The restored antebellum house is appointed with marble fireplaces, mahogany staircases and a fresco depicting Aesop's Fables. Originally a composite of Greek Revival, Federal and Italianate architectural styles, the house was modified with the addition of columns in the early 1900s. The estate was home to several prominent Floridians, including Sen. William C. Hodges.
