Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is at 10165 N. McKinley Dr., 2 mi. e. of jct. I-275 at the Busch Blvd exit or 2 mi. w. of I-75 at eit 265. The 335-acre adventure park features thrilling rides, live shows, shopping, dining and a major zoo with thousands of animals.

The newest ride, the Serengeti Flyer, allows guest to be seated back-to-back across two gondolas and reaches speeds of 68 mph and a maximum height of 135 feet at the ride’s peak. .

Tigris, a launch coaster, catapults riders forwards and backwards through twists, drops and rolls at top speeds of over 60 miles-per-hour. If you are looking for something faster, try the new Iron Gwazi reaching top speeds of 76 miles-per-hour with a 206 foot peak.

Cobra's Curse, a spin coaster for the whole family, features a vertical lift 70 feet high and a roller coaster that spins in different directions at 40 mph while a gigantic snake king stares you down.

Dive face down on a 335-foot drop tower, Falcon’s Fury. At the thrill ride’s highest point, riders pivot 90 degrees in midair to a face-down dive position. An instant later, they plunge straight down at 60 miles per hour.

Visitors watch in awe as cheetahs sprint across the plains of Cheetah Run. The hair-raising launch coaster Cheetah Hunt simulates a cheetah in pursuit of prey.

Jungala is a village nestled among towering trees where visitors can explore a three-story playland, soar on a zipline adventure, be launched into the sky from inside a 35-foot waterfall, connect up-close with orangutans and engage in a tug-of-war with a tiger.

SheiKra, one of several heart-pounding roller coasters, is a floorless dive coaster that sends riders 200 feet up, then 90 degrees down. Among the kid-friendly attractions in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area are Elmo's Treehouse Trek, Bert & Ernie's Watering Hole, the Air Grover coaster, the Zoe-patra & the Hippos of the Nile flume ride and The Count's Zambezi Rally car ride.

Edge of Africa offers a walking safari with hippos, lions, meerkats, vultures, Nile crocodiles and lemurs living in naturalistic habitats, remote encampments and African villages.

Myombe Reserve visitors can see lowland gorillas and chimpanzees in a naturalistic setting. The Serengeti Safari Tour takes riders through 65 acres and herds of free-roaming giraffes, zebras, rhinos, antelopes and ostriches.

Kennels, strollers, wheelchairs and lockers can be rented. Allow a full day.
