Roselawn Museum is at 224 W. Cherokee Ave. This restored Victorian mansion was the home of late 19th-century evangelist Samuel Porter Jones. It contains his writings and memorabilia as well as those belonging to Rebecca Latimer Felton, who in 1922 became the first woman to serve in the U.S. Senate. The 3.5-acre grounds feature a one-room schoolhouse, a brick smokehouse, a carriage house and a rose garden with nearly 250 antique roses.
