AAA Editor Notes
Marietta Museum of History is at 1 Depot St., in the 1845 Kennesaw House. The museum includes a series of galleries documenting the history of Marietta and Cobb County. Exhibits relate the development of local railroads, businesses and industries, display Civil War artifacts and showcase a variety of 19th- and 20th-century clothing, furnishings and inventions. The history of Native Americans and scouting are the subject of other permanent exhibits.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

$7; $5 (ages 55+ and students with ID); free (ages 0-5 and active military with ID).
Mon.-Sat. 10-4. Closed Jan. 1, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, day after Christmas and Dec. 31.
