Roosevelt's Little White House State Historic Site is .2 mi. s. on US 27A at 401 Little White House Rd. Built by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1932, this National Historic Landmark was the site of his death on April 12, 1945. Many of FDR's visionary programs were conceived within the walls of this house. A guest house, servant's quarters, garage and walkway of state flags and stones also are on the grounds. One mile away is the Historic Pools Complex, where a small museum relates the story of the springs and the town.

A self-guiding tour brochure is available in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian and Swedish. Guided tours are offered by advance reservation.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
