A self-described public house (an establishment that encourages diners to get to know one another) serves up a menu of American pub classics with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and time-honored techniques. Burgers are a big deal but they are only served after 9:30 pm and they are not on the menu. A kitchen staffer bellows 'burgers' over a bullhorn and the scramble is on to get one of the two dozen limit each night.
