Rome Area History Museum

Rome Area History Museum is at 305 Broad St. in the city's historic section. Organized in chronological order, the museum’s exhibits form a historical timeline beginning with the Native Americans, the region’s original inhabitants, and proceeding to the founding of Floyd County and Rome. Through original blueprints, maps and photographs, visitors can trace how Rome grew during the 1800s.
