Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace is at 10 E. Oglethorpe Ave. Founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Juliette Gordon Low was born in this elegant 1821 English Regency house in 1860. The home has been restored to its appearance in 1886, the year of Juliette Low’s marriage. Exhibits include period arrangements of original Gordon family furnishings, artwork by Juliette Low, a Victorian garden, a stable and a carriage house. Guided 30- to 40-minute tours offer insight into the lives of Low, the Gordon family and early history of the Girl Scouts.
