AAA Editor Notes
Wai‘ānapanapa State Park and Cave is about 2.5 mi. n.w. via SR 360, then about .5 mi. n. at the end of Honokalani Rd.; the route is narrow and winding. The small Honokalani Black Sand Beach is composed of small, smooth lava pebbles. A coastal trail leads to a small sea arch, sea caves, blowholes and seaside lava tubes. Various trails lead past temple ruins and a hala forest.

Note: Visitors should use caution while exploring the sea arch, sea caves, blowholes and seaside lava tubes. Wear walking shoes and bring water.
