Queen Emma Summer Palace, 2913 Pali Hwy. (SR 61), was built in 1848 as the summer retreat for Queen Emma, her husband King Kamehameha IV and their son Prince Albert. It is one of three remaining royal residences in the United States. Today the home is a historic site, museum and center for cultural education programs.
