AAA Editor Notes
Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center is off I-29 exit 149 (Hamilton Blvd.) to 1000 Larsen Park Rd. The dry-docked river-inspection ship was once used by the Army Corps of Engineers. The museum uses dioramas, scale models of steamboats and keelboats, photographs and artifacts to relate the history of Missouri River transportation, including the Lewis and Clark Expedition. A model of the Far West riverboat constructed with LEGO pieces is on display. The welcome center provides travel literature and visitor information.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
