Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) is at 820 N. Michigan Ave., across the street from Water Tower Park. The museum is home to Gilded Glory: European Treasures from the Martin D’Arcy Collections, which features 200 art pieces celebrating the splendor of the medieval Church and the magnificence of Renaissance and baroque princes, including paintings by Tintoretto and Stomer and metalwork by Algardi and Jamnitzer.

The collection also includes examples of German and Flemish sculpture, French and Italian furniture, and liturgical and devotional objects. LUMA also offers a number of traveling exhibitions throughout the year along with the Jean Morman Unsworth Art Expressways Gallery for students. Nativities from around the world are on display from mid-November to early January.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
