Bryant Cottage State Historic Site

Bryant Cottage State Historic Site, at 146 E. Wilson St. at jct. SR 105, is a four-room, period-furnished cottage built in 1856. Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas allegedly met at the cottage in July 1858 to plan their well-known debates. Guided tours highlight local history.
