The Grove

The Grove, 1421 Milwaukee Ave., offers 124 acres of pioneer history. Visitors can tour the grounds of the Kennicotts, a pioneer family that settled on the site in 1836; the restored Kennicott House is furnished in period. Other highlights include an interpretive center with animals native to the area, a schoolhouse, a Native American village, a log cabin and nature trails.

Educational programs and special events are offered throughout the year.
