Children's Discovery Museum

Children's Discovery Museum is at 101 E. Beaufort St. Three floors of hands-on exhibits encourage curiosity and imagination in children ages 2 to 12. Highlights include a kid-sized medical center and grocery market, interactive musical exhibits, a hands-on renewable energy display, a painting area, water works and a climbing structure that connects the second and third floors. In the AgMazing exhibit, kids can explore farm equipment, climb into a life-size tractor or milk a mechanical cow. My Great Backyard is geared toward children under 5 and includes such activities as climbing through tree structures.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
