AAA Editor Notes
The Rotary Jail Museum is at 225 N. Washington St. The restored 1882 county jail features a circular cellblock that can be rotated by the turn of a crank, and is said to be the last functioning design of its kind in the United States. This arrangement enabled the sheriff to safely monitor his prisoners. The sheriff's living quarters displays county artifacts as well as rotating and permanent exhibits.

Guided tours are available.
