Wylie House Museum is at 307 E. 2nd St. on the Indiana University campus. Built in 1835 by Indiana University’s first president, Andrew Wylie, the house features an impressive collection of early 19th-century American furnishings as well as many Wylie family artifacts, letters and personal papers. Grapevines and rose bushes in the heirloom garden date to the Civil War.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
