Wood's Historic Grist Mill is .5 mi. n. of US 30 on Randolph St., then 1 mi. e. on Old Lincoln Hwy. to Deep River County Park. Considered one of the finest mills in the county in the late 1800s, Wood's Mill could grind 12 bushels of grain per hour. Today visitors can watch demonstrations of the powerful grinding stone wheels as they grind corn into meal.
