African American Museum of Iowa

African American Museum of Iowa is at 55 12th Ave. S.E. The permanent exhibit Endless Possibilities traces the history of African Americans in the United States and Iowa. Topics include the slave trade, the Civil War, civil rights and Iowa history. A temporary exhibit changes annually.
