Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area

Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area is headquartered at 200 W. 9th St., but historic sites and museums are spread out over 41 counties in eastern Kansas and western Missouri. This is one of many sites that tell the stories of the shaping of the frontier, the Border War/Civil War and the enduring struggle for freedom.
