Atchison County Historical Society Museum

Atchison County Historical Society Museum is in the 1880 Santa Fe Depot at 200 S. 10th St. Local history exhibits focus on the Lewis and Clark expedition, aviator Amelia Earhart, senator David Rice Atchison, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jesse Stone. Rotating exhibits explore the “Bleeding Kansas” and Civil War era; also on display are railroad and military artifacts and a sizable collection of rare antique guns.
