Walter P. Chrysler Boyhood Home and Museum

Walter P. Chrysler Boyhood Home and Museum is at 102 W. 10th St. The founder of Chrysler Corp. lived in this 1889 house until the age of 22. Early training as a machinist in local railroad yards helped shape his future course. Furnished in period, the house also contains Chrysler memorabilia, including the industrialist’s corporate desk, which was donated to the museum after his death in 1940.
