Alexandria Museum of Art

Alexandria Museum of Art is at 933 Second St. The historic 1898 Rapides Bank Building is the centerpiece of this downtown Alexandria cultural complex, which serves as the hub for such community events as concerts and the Second Saturday at the Museum art fair. The museum's permanent collection features 20th-century American art. An interactive exhibition rotates quarterly. Traveling exhibits also are offered.
