Audubon Park is bordered by St. Charles Ave., the Mississippi River, Exposition Blvd. and Walnut St. In 1884-85 the area was the scene of the World's Industrial and Cotton Exposition, which startled the world with electric lighting indoors and out. The park has tree-shaded lagoons, gardens, jogging paths, a labyrinth, bridle paths, playgrounds, tennis courts and a golf course.
Food is available Mon.-Fri. 11-3, Sat.-Sun. 10-2.
Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
