AAA Editor Notes
King's Chapel Burying Ground is at Tremont and School sts. Established in 1630, this is one of Boston's oldest burying grounds. It contains the graves of Gov. John Winthrop; the Rev. John Cotton; John Davenport, founder of New Haven, Conn.; and William Dawes, who rode with Paul Revere and Samuel Prescott to warn Colonial minutemen of the British advance.
