This retro-chic motel has everything for this avid music fan, including a working turntable and Marshall amps in each room with vinyl albums to play.
AAA Inspector Notes
Built in 1959, this restored, retro-motel is a hip destination; and, can boast that it's the closest little lodging to Fenway Park. The vintage style is paramount to its design. Each guest room has a manual typewriter, record player and Marshall blue tooth speaker. But not to worry, the TVs are flat-panel, the bedding is plush and the bathrooms are not vintage. Be sure to take a look at the revolving collection of Rock and Roll memorabilia on display in the main hallway. Request a room overlooking Fenway Park to catch a glimpse of the players getting in and out of their buses or a room that has a view of the year-round outdoor pool that steams up in the winter. Complimentary passes to the nearby Boston Sports Club at the Landmark Center are provided for those looking to work out. A grab-and-go breakfast is offered each morning in the lobby. For dinner, try the on-site Japanese-style tavern, which serves everything from sushi to burgers with a fantastic cocktail list. There is a daily facilities fee.
Smoke free premises. 93 units. 2 stories (no elevator), interior corridors. Bath: shower only. Accessibility (Call).
