Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site is 2 blks. s. of SR 9 at 99 Warren St. Frederick Law Olmsted, the designer of New York City's Central Park, worked and lived in the house from 1883 until his retirement a decade later. The estate reflects Olmsted's design principle that nature and buildings can exist in harmony. In the house and office are various media reflecting landscape projects designed by Olmsted's firm.
