AAA Editor Notes
Hull Lifesaving Museum is at 1117 Nantasket Ave. Built in 1889 as a U.S. Life-Saving Station, the building also served as a Coast Guard station 1915-69. Displays re-create life in a turn-of-the-20th-century lifesaving station and recount the rescue missions of such lifesavers as boatkeeper Joshua James, a lifelong resident of Hull. The museum also includes photographs and stories of notable Boston Harbor shipwrecks and lighthouse artifacts.
