Mayflower II, moored at State Pier at Pilgrim Memorial State Park, is a reproduction of the ship that brought English colonists to Plymouth in 1620. An exhibition on the dock relates their story and that of the Wampanoag who lived on the land. On board the vessel modern guides discuss the reproduction ship's construction and its arrival in Plymouth in 1957. Costumed interpreters talk about the voyage, shipboard life in the 17th century and the colonists' first winter in the New World.

Note: The ship was away at Mystic Seaport’s Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard for the past three years for restoration. The ship is back in Plymouth and undergoing the remaining stages of restoration. Phone for details regarding its 400th Commemoration of America’s Founding Story scheduled to take place spring 2020.
