This is the only restaurant of its kind in the city. It is conveniently located near Maine Medical Center and has on-site parking in back, a rarity in Portland. Brunch is served on Saturday. Their tremendous cocktail list features many house-made infused liquors, including a pineapple-infused tequila, house lavender-and-bergamot-infused gin and a fig and vanilla bean bourbon. The beer list offers many local brews and they also have a good wine selection, especially from Spain, Italy and France. The Mediterranean-and-Spanish-influenced menu may change daily to incorporate fresh local ingredients whenever possible, but it usually includes braised short ribs, house-made gnocchi, all-natural Angus hanger steak and a paella with chicken, house chouriço, mussels and mahogany clams. The brunch menu features many local ingredients.
