Patuxent River Naval Air Museum

Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is outside Naval Air Station Patuxent River at 22156 Three Notch Rd. (SR 235); purchase tickets at the visitor center. The museum displays 21 naval aircraft, including two Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstrator aircraft, in an outdoor flight line. Indoor exhibits showcase the history of research, development, testing and evaluation of U.S. Navy aircraft. A Curtiss A-1 Triad replica, a UH-3A helicopter and an X-47A Pegasus unmanned air vehicle are on display. Flight simulators are available Saturdays for a fee.
