The FARM Institute is at 14 Aero Ave. One of the largest farms on Martha's Vineyard is open for discovery. Various guided tours showcase the diverse operations of the 162-acre site. During the Farm Tour, staff members highlight the living quarters of pigs, cows, sheep and chickens as well as greenhouses where vegetables and herbs are grown. The Chore Tour gives visitors the chance to become a farmhand for a day, allowing for interaction with many of the animals.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
