AAA Editor Notes
Natural Bridge State Park is .5 mi. n.e. off SR 2 on SR 8 to McCauley Rd. Glacial meltwaters formed this white marble arch and chasm at the end of the last ice age. Nathaniel Hawthorne described it in his “American Notebooks.” A visitor center and picnic facilities are near the natural bridge, and a walking trail leads through the chasm and to an abandoned marble quarry.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
