The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, off I-91 exit 6 at 1000 Hall of Fame Ave., is a state-of-the-art museum that features exhibits, basketball memorabilia, interactive video monitors, a movie theater and galleries.
The History of the Game Gallery follows the game from its invention in 1891 to today; The Players Gallery affords visitors the opportunity to play virtual hoops against some of the best NBA and WNBA players; The Game Through the Media Gallery re-enacts some of the greatest game moments; The Coaches and Teams Gallery is a locker room setting that allows visitors a look through the “Coach's Playbook”; and The Honors Ring is an interactive timeline of enshrinees from Dr. James Naismith to the present.
