AAA Editor Notes
Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre is 1 blk. w. of jct. Pembina Hwy. and Stafford St. at 680 Harrow St. The museum's six galleries tell the story of hydroelectric development in the province beginning in the 1870s. The lower-level discovery area features interactive electrical and natural gas safety exhibits and films, seasonal exhibits and a Van de Graaff static electricity generator.

Themed areas such as The Light Goes On 1882-1900, Energizing Manitoba 1900-1960 and Powering up the Farm 1942-1960 provide an idea of the museum's offerings. A yellow turbine runner from one of the oldest hydroelectric stations in Manitoba is outside the 1931 building.
