AAA Editor Notes
Old Fort Western, 16 Cony St., is said to be America's oldest surviving wooden French and Indian War garrison. Costumed interpreters guide visitors through the fort's military, storekeeping and residential past spanning the years 1628-1922.

Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

$10; $8 (ages 55+ and military veterans with ID); $6 (ages 6-14); free (ages 0-5 and active military with ID); $25 (family).

Daily 10-4, July-Aug.; Fri-Mon. 10-4, in June and Sept.-Oct. Last tour begins 30 minutes before closing.
