Plymouth Historical Museum is 1 blk. n. of Kellogg Park at 155 S. Main St. This 26,000-square-foot museum chronicles the history of early Plymouth. A gallery houses Main Street shops and offices reflecting many trades and professions of 19th-century Plymouth. Highlights include the Abraham Lincoln and Victorian Rooms exhibits. Among the Lincoln artifacts and archives are a lock of the president’s hair and one of his childhood books. The museum is home to what is said to be the only Alter car, which was built in Plymouth 1916-17. A collection of Daisy air rifles also is displayed.

A library and archives are available.
