Grand Rapids Public Museum

Grand Rapids Public Museum is at 272 Pearl St. N.W. Visitors can walk through a re-creation of an 1890s downtown Grand Rapids street and explore exhibits about local Native American history and West Michigan habitats, gaze in wonder at a 76-foot finback whale skeleton and take a ride on an operational 1928 Spillman carousel. The Robot Zoo features activities and eight impressive robot animals that are bigger than life-size. Major traveling exhibitions also are presented.
