Ludington State Park is 8 mi. n. at 8800 W. SR 116. This 5,300-acre park borders Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake and features fine beaches, sand dunes, year-round camping and miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and canoe trails.

Picnic shelters, both open and enclosed, are available.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
