AAA Editor Notes
Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library and Village is at 1031 Bridge Ave. This collection of original buildings and replicas depicts 19th-century life in Freeborn County. Structures include an early log cabin, general store, one-room schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, bank, church and train depot, all furnished in period.

Exhibit subjects range from music and toys to immigration and the military. The collection of storybook dolls includes Cinderella, Madeline, Pinocchio and Pooh Bear. Ethnic and vintage 19th-century dolls, a collection of toy trucks and a toy musical merry-go-round also are featured. Staff at the museum's library can assist visitors with local historical and genealogical research.
