James B. Wakefield House Museum

James B. Wakefield House Museum is 3 blks. w. of US 169 at 405 E. 6th St. The museum is in the former home of James B. Wakefield, town co-founder and former Minnesota lieutenant governor. The oldest home in Faribault County, it contains vintage furnishings and other items that belonged to early settlers. A narrated tour recounts the history of the county, town and Wakefield family.
