AAA Editor Notes
Dorothy Molter Museum is at 2002 E. Sheridan St., just e. of downtown. It is dedicated to Dorothy Molter, who lived on the remote Isle of Pines in Knife Lake for more than 50 years. Video exhibits and a guided tour of her two restored and relocated cabins bring to life the story of this free spirit. Molter earned the nickname “the Root Beer Lady” for the homemade beverage she first sold and later gave to both passing canoeists and visitors from around the world. A nature trail, bird-watching and geocaching also are available.

Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
