Walker Art Center is at 725 Vineland Pl. The permanent collection galleries display paintings, sculpture, videos, prints, drawings, photographs and installation works representing major 20th- and 21st-century artists and artistic movements.
Additional features include a 385-seat performance space for dance, music and theater programs; a cinema for film and new media screenings; and the region's largest library of contemporary art. Various education areas encourage visitors to learn about and create art. Special exhibitions also are presented.
