Battle of Westport Visitor Center and Museum

Battle of Westport Visitor Center and Museum is at 4000 Baltimore Ave. The museum tells the story of the last full-scale Civil War battle in Missouri, fought Oct. 21-23, 1864. It marked the end of a decade of conflict along the Missouri/Kansas border. Visitors can take a self-guiding walking or driving tour of nearby Big Blue Battlefield.
